Hookah Bowls

We can distinguish several types of hookah bowls:

• Classical forms, which also include the Turks, the Egyptian Bowld and UPG type bowls.
• Phunnel with one hole in the center, rounded sides and a flat bottom.
• Killer bowl (or evil) with a flat bottom, the classic position of the holes and direct air circulation.

It should also be noted that a good model does not depend on the diameter of the upper part of the bowl. Deep ones require more time for full warm-up of the tobacco blend. They last longer and give more flavor throughout the hookah session, but it is difficult to puffing. In the not-deep models, the mixture will burn faster – this will be suitable for 1-2 person smoking session. The best option is the ratio of depth /diameter - approximately 10(15) /75 millimeters. However, it depends more on the experience of  hookah preparation and heat resistance and brands of Tobacco mixed in bowl.

Skilled hookah tenders often prefer clay bowls as it is believed that it better reveals the taste and protects from overheating. However, for beginners is more suitable glazed bowls, because it is easy to preapare and clean after session.
